Workshop Activities

Wild Animal Robotics (ages 6-9)

Build a 'hungry alligator' robot using Lego® WeDo and then bring it to life using the simple visual programming! We'll also learn about the mechanics of motors, gears and pulleys.

Robot Rescue (ages 10+)

A search and rescue mission needs your help! We'll use Lego® Mindstorms to assemble a robotic arm, then learn to use the simple visual programming software to instruct our robots to complete the challenge.

Create a Computer Game (ages 7-12)

Create your own on-screen computer game using Scratch (a kid-friendly visual programming tool)! Design your own characters then learn how to program them to move and score points.

Create a Website (ages 12+)

Peek behind the scenes of your favourite websites, then learn how to create your own webpage! We'll be learning the basics of HTML, the 'language of the web'.

Stop Motion Animation (ages 7+)

Create your own short Lego® movie! Using SAM Animation, we will produce animated movies using stop-motion technology and video editing software.
